I’m local to the Golden State and the San Francisco Bay Area but continue to serve clients frequently out of state. I’m experienced in identifying, underwriting, negotiating, and operating established businesses. One of my greatest passions is helping others create a strategic plan to do the same. As a consultant, I work with clients from initial planning through operational transitions. Buying a business is quite easy; learning how to pivot operationally and hold the margin is where things get challenging.

Commercial Investment Consultations

Experienced in commercial facility acquisitions, ownership, and management, I help investors learn the nuances between residential and commercial investments and how to prepare them to 1031 out of their residential portfolios or simply dive right into commercial assets. One commercial asset can provide the returns that twenty residential homes do. They also provide different protections for landlords via NNN leases, among a myriad of other lease structures. I cut my teeth as the 3rd generation of my family’s business. After being the first to earn a bachelor’s degree in my family, I was hit by the 2008 economic crash. Getting that dream job became impossible. My Dad told me a job at ‘the shop’ was waiting, and hesitantly, I took him up on it. I had been sweeping floors of his industrial warehouses for allowance money since I was tiny, 5 years old or so. They also threw me coins for filing and cleaning their offices. I went back and started right where I left off. No job was too big for me: cleaning the bathrooms, filing, measuring units, peeling up flooring to try to glimpse if the VCT was hot. A decade plus later, I sold large projects, and I still swept the floors. That’s small business.

There is no real growth in business without ownership of commercial facilities. It’s not to say that your business can’t reach massive heights without a brick and mortar; it’s to say that when you start to grow in profit, you need somewhere to put that money. Folks that intend to solidify their businesses via cost control, depreciation, and tax write-offs understand this means purchasing commercial real estate.

There is no greater intersection of stability and growth than in business and commercial real estate ownership. I’ve made it my mission to acquire more businesses and demonstrate to both my brokerage clients and the people in my world why and how this is attainable for them.

In the span of a few years, I’ve co-founded a business and am acquiring other land and business opportunities. It’s not just the buy – the art is in the hold. Holding a business requires operational efficiency, a shrewd acceptance of the numbers, and the audacity to make fast decisions and pivot. Yes, audacity, because comfort is a drug, and change is scary.

I am not your average commercial broker. I’m not your average small business owner. I’m a chameleon, an ethnographer, and the product of three generations of family that has struggled to procure generational wealth. I’m here to share the good, the shocking, the brutality, the joy, the freedom, and the pain that comes with this path. You have a choice; we all do. This is mine.
